La XII edición del festival Leyendas del Rock, que el próximo año 2017 tendrá lugar los días 9, 10, 11 y 12 de agosto en el Polideportivo Municipal de la localidad alicantina de Villena, ha anunciado nuevos nombres que formarán parte de su cartel y que vienen a sumarse a las bandas ya confirmadas anteriormente (Arch Enemy, Epica, Primal Fear, Bloodbath, Amaranthe, Eclipse, Aborted, Alestorm, Arkona, Omnium Gatherum, Elvenking, Tako, Blind Guardian, Triptykon, Manegarm y Tierra Santa).
Así, se han ido sumando en las últimas fechas al cartel del festival de Villena nombres como UFO, DIAMOND HEAD, RAGE, MOONSORROW, 1349, NAZARETH, URIAH HEEP, FIREWIND, VREID, MASTERPLAN, SERIOUS BLACK, NOCTEM, AND THEN SHE CAME, OBÚS, MEDINA AZAHARA, SARATOGA, ANGELUS APATRIDA, SHERPA, LUJURIA, ALQUIMIA, BEETHOVEN R., VHÄLDEMAR, SAUROM, THUNDERMOTHER y INSOMNIUM.
